Jamie Klenin

Founder & President

Jamie Klenin founded Racing for Paws Nonprofit because of the unconditional love she receives and continues to get from the animals who have been neglected, abandoned, and abused.

Jamie has years of volunteer experience in the rescue world. She is passionate about animals and saving their lives. She has held the Miss Colorado Galaxy title in 2011 and through pageantry, she has given many hours to community service which focused heavily on animal rescue. She believes in being the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves, rescued animals.

Holly Connell

Vice President

Holly Connell is the Vice President. Business owner and former race car team owner. She has many years of experience of working with everyday customers and running race teams all over the country. She is the proud owner of two adopted Border Collies from a rescue.

Mark Klenin

Treasurer

Mark has always loved race cars and puppies. He is the first person to say yes without hesitation when it comes to helping animals. His heart belongs to a very special rescue puppy named Bentley.

Mark Klenin is the Treasurer. Mark has been a business owner for 40 years working with nonprofits and churches for over 25 years and is an expert in customer service. He is also passionate about racing which assisted in the name of the organization “Racing for Paws.” He travels the country racing, advertising on his car for Racing for Paws and helping companies in financial crisis. He has a special place in his heart for puppies, especially one named Bentley, his Pomeranian rescue.

Rose Chamberlain

Secretary

After twenty years in the financial industry, Rose Chamberlain followed her passion into real estate, where she unleashed her marketing and networking skills.

After years of living in Longmont, Rose began to  see a need for a women’s professional networking group. She knew so many people and saw how much they would all benefit if they could meet! Thus, Rose founded Coffee and Connections. Her passion is building community. Rose has volunteered and held numerous positions within various programs. She dedicates time as President for the Longmont St. Vrain Rotary Club, President for the American Business Women’s Association, Board of Directors for the Longmont Public Library, Friends of the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center, Coordinates Free Business Workshops for the City of Longmont with collaboration from the Friends of the Longmont Public Library and an Ambassador for the Longmont Chamber of Commerce. Rose’s mission was to compete in the “38th Annual Mrs. Colorado Pageant” and was honored as Mrs. Congeniality on April 12, 2014. Rose, a pillar of the community and enjoyed competing  as “Mrs. Longmont 2014″. Rose served as Assistant Governor and PR Coordinator for District 5450, Area 14 which included the Longmont Rotary Clubs in 2013 and 2014. Now, she can truly put time into her first passion – building community and sharing her love for animals by supporting Racing for Paws.
